How do crystals work?
Crystals work when you consciously tune in to their unique vibration.
Each particular crystal's frequency can help with different things. For example, the frequency of a Rose Quartz crystal is perfected matched to heal the heart chakra. You can read all about it in my blog 'Understanding crystal basics' here.

Crystals should not be treated as miracle cures for ailments. They are a powerful complimentary therapy, but they should always be used alongside other kinds of medicine and healing practices, and never instead of.
What is Reiki?
Reiki stands for Universal (or Divine)- Energy (Rei-ki). A Reiki treatment is a spiritual healing treatment, which uses energy transfer to bring balance to the seven Chakras (governing energy points) of the body. Reiki can also be used to 'charge' the energy of other things, including, of course, crystals.

How can I find out my ring size?
You can find out your ring size in any high street jewellers, or have a read of this if you want to take your measurements at home.
How do you make your jewellery? Do you make every piece yourself?
Copper Myst jewellery is made using a process called Electroforming. It is essentially a thick copper plating process, involving electricity running through an acid bath.

I make every piece of Copper Myst jewellery myself in my studio. Different stages of making include: crystal pairing, building the pieces with epoxy paste and hammered copper, dremeling, painting with conductive paint, protecting the stones with liquid latex.
I used to do all of my own Electroforming in the studio, and I still do some, but nowadays most of it is done by the amazing Jules at The Silvery. Having Jules on board for the sciencey bit is great. It leaves me much less stressed, and with lots more free time to enjoy at my studio doing other bits!
How do I care for my Copper Myst jewellery?
Copper Myst jewellery is generally very easy to care for, having said that, here are a few key things to bare in mind:
Handle with care; Avoid contact with water and/or soap and chemicals; Polish with lemon juice and water, or a polishing cloth; No sunbathing in jewellery ( to avoid the copper marking your skin or clothes).
How can I cleanse and charge my Copper Myst crystal jewellery?
It's important to cleanse crystals regularly to rid them of any unwanted energies they might be holding. Charging your crystals ensures that their vibration is as high and pure as possible, so you can reap their full healing benefits.
You can cleanse your Copper Myst crystal jewellery using sound, smoke, or visualisation. You can charge them by placing them in sunlight, moonlight, or placing them on other crystals such as Selenite.
Some loose crystals can be cleansed in water, but I don't recommended that for contact with the Copper.
How should I choose which piece is right for me?
The general rule is to go with what you are automatically drawn to. Don't overthink it. If you are buying crystals in person, then get used to handling them and feeling which of the different energies resonate with you the most. If you are choosing online, you will need to use your imagination and intuition: Look at the photos and really try to imagine yourself holding that piece. Imagine how it would feel in your hand. You may imagine one piece and feel instinctively that you really want to hold it for real, that it is meant for you!

How can I choose a piece for someone else?
My advice is to hold the person clearly in your mind, and rather than trying to make a decision of what to choose, just allow your intuition to guide you to the energy that is needed for that person. I find that leaning into your intuition is always a great way to make decisions.

Are Copper Myst crystals ethically sourced?
Yes. I source all of my crystals from two major UK wholesalers, and cabochons from a a family business in India, all of whom I trust to be ethical and sustainable. I go into more detail about the importance of this in my blog 'Ethically Sourced Crystals'.
