This last month may have felt heavy - with the emotional and introspective Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio (during grounded Taurus season), it's been quite intense! Happily, we've now moved into the easy-breezy and extroverted Gemini energy. This Monday our new moon in Gemini will bring with it a fun and an airy feeling.

Gemini is the expressive and extroverted mutable Air sign that rules the 3rd house of communications. Expect to feel ease in this area returning with this new moon, following the confusion of Mercury retrograde (which finishes on the 3rd June). We'll have more mental clarity and be carrying less emotional baggage as we enter June.

Gemini is intellectual, curious, playful and social. Dual-natured Geminis often find it difficult to make decisions, and love to have lots of interests and hobbies on the go at once. The Social butterflies of the zodiac, extroverted and quick-witted Gemini can talk to anyone, and enjoys being the life and soul of the party. Sometimes over impulsive and gossipy, people can be easily persuaded by Gemini into following their cheeky lead.

Both Virgo and Gemini are ruled by Mercury which governs communication, intellect, memory, expression of our thoughts, coordination and problem solving. Where Virgo likes to communicate to facilitate, Gemini likes to communicate to persuade. Gemini is more interested in communicating their own abilities and what they can bring to the table (than Virgo who is more practical minded).

A new moon in Gemini is a great time to be social, have fun and take things lightly. Set intentions around communications - is there something you could be communicating more clearly (or someone you could be communicating more clearly to?). It's also a good time to try and unite opposing parts of yourself - set the intention for decisiveness.

The following journal prompts are designed to help you tap into this Gemini energy, dive deep into yourself, and make your new moon intention setting really powerful:

1. When I think of 'confusion', what parts of my life come to mind? (Think people, projects, communications, direction).

2. What thing(s) do people tend to misunderstanding about me? How could I make my communication more clear to change this?

3. Where in my life do I see myself being pulled in different directions? What do I struggle to make decisions over?

4. What could I put into place to help bring myself the necessary unity to choose a singular direction? (Make sure that direction is the best path for you!)

5. What social activities do I really enjoy? Who do I enjoy spending my time with? (Make time for this - have fun!)

Each new and full moon I host an online group chat where we work through the journal prompts together, share insights, and hold space for each other. To get the most out of the session you can work through the prompts before hand, but its not necessary - if you'd like to join in anyway and work through them during then please do! If you'd like to get involved then please subscribe to my mailing list at the bottom of this page, where every other week I will share the info and zoom link to join the sessions. Happy New Moon!
